Ahh the tangled web of ship ownership and classification.......

Owned in Latvia. Liberian Flag. Surveyed by Registro Italiano Navale (IACS) on the 31st January 2019.

UK Inspection at Goole on the 26th February 2019 which indicated Six Deficiencies:-
Including
Fire Fighting Equipment and Appliances not properly maintained.
Wire Ropes Damaged.
Pollution Alarm not as required.
Charts not Updated.
Magnetic Compass not as required.

Now I except that some of these may be minor but should they not have been flagged-up on the Safety Survey carried out by the IACS less than a month before?????

Its not very often we get a view from above, but the design of her hatches looks upside down with all the framework exposed. Obviously it is safe but surely that is going to trap an awful lot of water when waves break over her??
