MORSKOY-1 (6617453), White Sea & Onega Shipping Co. (A/O Belmomorsko-Orezhskoe Parokhodstvo - so there! [all part of the recorded ownership style] - in 2001), Russia, 1595 gt,
completed Turku/Abo 11-1966. And still in service, approaching 49 years young!

From the TEESSHIPS archives, I said at that time: Yes, officer, George did say I could stop on the roundabout to take photos. What? You don't know George, I thought everyone did! Well, no, he didn't say I'd get funny looks, but then I've had them all my life! A spectacular evening view of the timber yards at Goole docks. In response to a suggestion the view would be improved if they were tidied up a bit, I believe the answer was to the effect - where there's muck, there's brass! (and that's as Yorkshire as you can get!)
