My first ship as a 'deck cadet' with Freddie Everard
Interesting and topical - she bore the name CORONA between 1988 and 1989
She then changed to BIRONA from 1989 to 1992 before becoming BARCO
Wonder if some Norwegian shipowner had foresight to change it or if it's a warning about another pandemic from way back then!!!

Well I was not there long as I suffered badly with seasickness
So they moved me on to STABILITY to stabilize my career
Then in January 1980 they wanted to see if I was authentic so I was sent to join AUTENTICITY at Stanlow
Two months later they decided I was a cut above the rest so I joined SUPERIORITY in TDE at South Sheilds
Didn't work out and after a total of 9 months I resigned and went to work in the family business
