Built by Henry Scarr, Hessle at a cost of £2,907 16s 11d. Arrived Sunderland, November 1906.
Twin Steam Engines manufactured and installed by Mr F T Harker of Stockton-onTees.
Hull; IRON
Overall Length; 60 feet. 55 ft bp.
Beam ; 14ft.
Max Draught; 6ft 6ins.
Speed 8 knots. Engines 7" and 12" cyls with a stroke of 8" operating at 140psi.
Boiler and pumping machinery by Shand, Mason and Co. London.
Rate 2,200 gallons per minute.
2.5 inch Monitor on the roof of the forward accommodation could send a jet 220ft in the air.
In addition she also had Nine delivery outlets and nearly one mile of hose was supplied by J McGregor and Co, Dundee.
Sold 1962 and with her steam plant removed she was used as a houseboat at Scarborough.
Bought 1975 by a Mr G F Spink and berthed at Grimsby Marina. Renamed VIKING and converted into a motor cruiser, equipped with sails.
