Went there for a job in 1970 along with 3 others fresh out of our apprenticeships from Palmers, it had just closed. The foreman said that there was only nightshift available, one of the three merry men asked "What time do we get our heads down". I started at Smith's a week later. And no, it wasn't me who asked the question.
