The old wood paddle tug Stag (1) hard at work dated in 1885, love the foy boatmen also in the foreground.
Strange date as she still has the Cook Companies funnel marks but 'I think' in 1885 she was owned by J Culliford JL Cark and A. Irving but belonged to Anchor Steam Tug Co fleet.
Well for the well over sixties also where is the picture taken , 'could be' coming into the Albert Edward Dock , BUT, look at the swing bridge or ferry landing bridge on the bottom left .
