An old favourite, here is the Riversea entry from a few year back

A fine conversion from a Humber tug, off Harty Ferry in the River Swale on 15/07/2007, photos by Ted Ingham

Converted to a motor tug in 1953
Sold in 1979 and converted to a private yacht

The latest photographs for Cawood was dated 15/07/2007 at Harty Ferry on the River Swale, I have trying to find out what happened to this tugboat for many years. My dad was the engineer on this tugboat when he lost his life in 1963 when the Cawood nearly capsized during the big freeze when the River Humber froze over. Do you know if this tugboat conversion is still on the the River Swale, if not do you know of its where abouts?

Thanks

An update on my search for the Cawood, I've been contacted and informed that the Cawood prior to being sold in 2014, was moored at Southdown Marina, Plymouth. Has any seen the Cawood since then? Thanks
