They can only be any 1 of the fairly numerous steel fleet tenders constructed from the late 1960's on to replace the multitude of wooded M.F.V.'s ( Motor Fishing Vessels ) which had performed yeoman service for decades, since most dated from WW2.
These steel boats were only a modern update
Very few of these wooden boats were actually built in the North East, they were of assorted sizes and from what i can glean, at least 850 ( Eight Hundred & Fifty ) were completed. Give or take.
