One of my earliest efforts at ship photography dating from 16th April 1961, this would be on Kodachrome film which had a rather slow speed emulsion (25ASA). Kodak eventually replaced this with a faster film (64ASA) which gave much improved results, allowing faster shutter speeds and/or smaller apertures to be used
