Yes definitely a case of coals to Newcastle
Or logs to Finland or Sweden for pulping into paper.
Same happened at Blyth where ships were loaded on the Dun Cow.
No elf 'n' safety so you could wander past quiet happily taking photo's because we were sensible.
Another irony - her sister BALTIC LINK used to import the paper back into Blyth or Hartlepool
Still going and converted to a rail vehicles carrier as here :
