It was BELDALE H that became RIX OSPREY (per Graham's Rix book).

If so, they managed to fool just about everyone, including Lloyds' Register who showed her as ex BEDALE H.

So, where do we find the definitive answer?

Anyway, what were Harker thinking about .... a BEDALE and a BELDALE both around the same time!!!??

The definitive answer is by Graham Atkinson and John Rix .... I hope! :)

Well, somewhere down the line I have become totally confused myself with this one!

My database entry from first sighting her in 2001 was that she was ex BEDALE H. I presume this was from LR at the time, or maybe subsequently as I did, at one stage, have a backlog in recording my new sightings. As I've already mentioned LR do give her as ex BEDALE H in the latest edition I have, which is for 2005-06.

My eventual entry in these NEM posts would give details cross-checked from Miramar, and they still show ex BEDALE H therein.

I saw her twice at least during 2005 and posted photos on my then active TEESSHIPS website. From sighting her in Goole on 29 August 2005 I showed on my webiste .... ex BELDALE H .... so where on earth did I get that at that time??? That webpage was actually posted on 25 September 2005, so within one month of that sighting of her.

All right children settle down and the last proper butcher in Blyth will read to you from the book what he wrote with Mr Rix

BELDALE H became RIX OSPREY

BURDALE H BECAME RIX KESTREL

BURTONDALE H became RIX FALCON and then RIX PHOENIX

So there was no BEDALE H which entered the Rix fleet

Now drink your milk its time for your 3.10 tablet and afternoon nap

Regards
