Cavendish nearing her end on 16th February 1968 (plus a couple of tugs - nearest is Eastsider).

Curious as to what the two 'tubes' might be, with what appears to be wheel-operated valves?

The valves are on the outlets from the condensers.

The Ferry was the B. L. NAIRN.

Built 1929. Dundee Harbour Trustees.

Seen on 30 August 1967. Sh had arrived on the 17th.
