RISING DAWN (BM 556) registered at Brixham, berthed at the Fish Quay in Hartlepool. For those who are interested the cargo vessel, in the background, is the MEKHANIK PUSTOSHNYY, from Russia, discharging at the Deep Water Berth.

I hadn't notice before that rather uncomplementary repair to the Town Wall, presumably there was a collapse some years back. With ever rising tide levels, how long before the wall will no longer continue to protect the houses behind it?

The sea defences were strengthened along parts of the Town Wall some time ago. New paving has been laid and an inner wall constructed towards the Grade II listed houses on the sea front. You can remove this image if you think it's not suitable - but a nice view of the dock cranes!

No, the photo is fine here, Stan. I remember now about walking on the inner raised paving.
