Graham, have corrected the name to EL MORRO, a T2 tanker built 1944 by Kaiser, Swan Island. BP bought her in 1947 and was one of several that surprisingly had no name change. She arrived at Blyth 04/11/1959. Nice one for the files.

Work started on demolition on the 2nd December 1959.

1959 was a good year for Tankers......BRITISH TENACITY; FORT STEVENS; OMALA and EL MORRO.

1960 saw Six and 1961 Seven.
