MARIO ROSELLI.
6,835 Gross.
Launched 25th April 1942 and completed later the same year by Riuniti Adriatico, Monfalcone, Italy.
Engine:- 7,500 Hp 9 Cy Fiat giving her a speed of 18 knots.
A well equipped ship with 1 x 40 Ton, 1 x 20 Ton, 3 x 10 Ton and 13 x 5 Ton Derricks.
Owner/s:-

Miramar has her first Owner as "Italia SA di Nav, Trieste" but she is not in my Lloyds for 1947 or 1950 so I cannot confirm, however my 1953 Register has a note in under her new name of ALPE saying that she was "Commissioned" 1942 perhaps suggesting something else. I also thought Italia, Societa Di Navigazione was based in Genoa.

1952. Name changed to ALPE.
Owners:- "Italnavi" Soc di Navigazion per Azioni, Genoa.

1969.
Owners:- Costa Armatori S.p.A. Genoa.

1970.
Owners:- SAUDENA Soc. Anon, Uruguaya de Nav. Montevideo.

1971.
Sold to Flemar Ltd, Uruguay.

1972.
Arrived for breaking at Battleship Wharf on the 14th February 1972.
Under tow from Rotterdam.

However! Marine News Volume 26 (1972) page 461 has a note of her sale back to Costa Armatori.............though my Bolckow's record's do say Flemar.
