The crane has been there for some time now (IIRC when the Smit barges and tugs first arrived - I thought they were going to take it away) - I think there is also one left on the end of 3 quay - i would suspect their days are numbered - they could be good as spares for the ones in Alex before they get removed for the Siemens redevelopment

Great photo of Beamer, Simon. Glad to see she's getting some work.

You may have noticed that she sometimes looks like she is at an alarming angle when she turns.

A work in progress Simon, also rumoured the funnels are to go and probably the firefighting mast.

Apologies for resurrecting this old thread, but has anyone any updates on Beamer (and even better, any photos)? Her AIS position remains sporadic, as it has done since her move from the Firth of Forth to the Humber now a few years ago. Thanks.
