Northern Shipping's MEKHANIK SEMAKOV berthing at Barrowhaven on high water yesterday afternoon with the assistance of LASHETTE. She made it at the second attempt. She brought a part cargo of timber from Archangel via Honfleur.

Was watching her taking her run up, original plan was stern first but they decided against that. She was just fast as we passed.

A wise move I think Patrick. Stern first might have been entertaining for the onlookers.

Having seen one of the Humber Video's showing a vessel trying to berth and the methods used to get her into place, berthing at the second attempt is Remarkable!
