Can anyone please put a name to this Hughes Marine crane barge seen on the Trent this afternoon - 17 November 2014?
I see they now operate the COQUET MOUTH but this does not look to be her (much altered if so).
The name is, I think, on the bridge-front, but obscured by the crane jib!

She is the PANURGIC III built 1935 at Watsons of Gainsborough,
Amazingly she has kept her name all this time.

Brilliant. Many thanks for this very quick i/d .... and I can now add her to my database as a new sighting!

However, a couple of queries. Looking at my photos, and elsewhere in other shipping sites, it seems the name is actually PANURGIC II (not III). She is in Equasis but simply as PANURGIC, and Miramar seem to also indicate she was built as such. So, presumably, the II suffix has been added at some later stage - and Equasis (= Lloyd's Register) have never been informed of it?

For now, I have recorded her as:
PANURGIC II (5270131), United Kingdom, 102gt, completed Watson, Gainsborough, 11-1935
1935 PANURGIC - 19?? PANURGIC II

This PANURGIC II is her successor, 1950, 160gt by Watson under yard number 1637.

I used to think panurgic was a either pan cleaner or something you took when you were constipated ....

Meaning: Having multiple skills, able and willing to carry out a variety of tasks requiring different sets of skills.
