PEACEFUL STAR (5272452), Wood & Davidson Ltd., Aberdeen, 121gt,
built by Cochrane & Sons Ltd., Selby, 1931, ex Quiet Waters-49.
1976 sank in port - subsequently raised, 1983 broken up (1981: After being salved sold to Sartard Shipbreakers Ltd , Marsa for breaking up.).

Aberdeen - 13 August 1970:

About this, I commented on TEESSHIPS: This is one of those "I'm glad I took it" shots - one of the few I could record that day in the extensive but cluttered line-up along the quayside.

and: http://www.fleetwood-trawlers.info/inde ... ers-lt201/ which states she sank in 1978?

Great record of those days Ron, fishing rather than oil support! I walked those quays in June 1968 on my 'Morris Minor Tour de Scotland', plenty of names recorded but alas no camera!

Yes, I jotted down the names of about 40 trawlers, but could photograph only two of them!
