12-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (254 x 305mm) 12RK3CM vee type by English Electric Diesels Ltd., Glasgow, single reduction geared to a controllable pitch propeller operating within a Kort steerable nozzle. 2,640 bhp. 37 tons bollard pull. 13 kts.
16.2.1972: Keel laid by Richard Dunston (Hessle) Ltd., Hessle upon Humber (Yard No. S. 887) for Smit & Cory International Port Towage Ltd., (Cory Ship Towage Ltd., managers), London.
13.6.1972: Launched.
7.11.1972: Completed. Registered at London.
1976: Transferred to Halifax, Canada registry, and removed from management.
1978: Chartered to Cory Ship Towage Ltd., at Avonmouth, and subsequently transferred to London registry.
1994: Transferred to Interfirst Leasing Ltd., (Cory Towage Ltd., managers).
23.1.1996: Suffered a fuel supply / engine failure and was abandoned in heavy weather with her anchors down.
24.1.1996: Recovered undamaged from Murlough Bay, and towed to Belfast.
1999: Transferred to Cory Towage Ltd.
14.5.1999: Sold to Barcazas Dominicia S. A., Dominican Republic, for delivery in December / January 2000 but sale failed due to financial difficulties.
3.4.2000: Owner restyled as Wijsmuller Marine Ltd.
3.2001: Sold to Fenice, (L.Langiano, manager) and to Portugal flag
4.2002: Renamed SAINT JAMES.
8.2005: To Panama flag.
1.9.2005: Sold to Fenwick Maritime SA, (Cemsan Gemi Sokum, Aliaga, managers).
18.4.2009: Reported as demolished by Gemsan Gemi Sokum San Ltd, Aliaga
