As built: 6-cyl. 2 S.C.S.A. (340 x 570mm) Polar MN16 type by British Polar Engines Ltd., Glasgow, single reduction reverse geared to a single fixed pitch propeller. 1,260 bhp. 22 tons bollard pull. 11 kts.
Post 1989: 7-cyl. 2 S.C.S.A. (300 x 450mm) Wichmann 7AXA type by Wartsila-Wichmann A/S, Rubbestadneset. 1,500 bhp. 25 tons bollard pull.
9.2.1962: Keel laid by Richard Dunston (Hessle) Ltd., Hessle upon Humber (Yard No. S. 786) for Newport Screw Towing Co. Ltd., Newport.
21.6.1962: Launched.
18.9.1962: Completed. Registered at Newport.
1971: Purchased by Cory Ship Towage Ltd., London, and later renamed WESTGARTH.
1981: Sold to Arnt Enebakk, Norway, and renamed NORDBEVER.
1989: Re-engined.
17.10.2006: Sold to Stale Kristorffersen, Norway.
10.2006: Renamed NICO.
29.9.2008: Sold to KNS Shipping AS, (J.K.Haaland, manager), Norway and renamed GEITUNG.
10.8.2012: Reported as in casualty/repair and two days later as in service.
4.2015: Renamed JK 1.
4.2017: Still in SeaWeb, as in service, but without any additional detail.
