8-cyl. 2 S.C.S.A. (340 x 570mm) Polar MN16 type by British Polar Engines Ltd., Glasgow. 1,700bhp. 27 tons bollard pull.
4.3.1954: Keel laid by Henry Scarr Ltd., Hessle (Yard No. 732) for the Elliot Steam Tug Company (1949) Ltd. (Ship Towage (London) Ltd., managers), London.
16.9.1954: Launched
1.3.1955: Registered at London.
7.3.1955: Completed.
12.1955: Owners restyled as the Elliott Steam Tug Company Ltd.
3.1965: Sold to William Watkins Ltd. (same managers).
20.9.1968: Owners restyled as London Tugs Ltd. (same managers).
1975: Owners acquired by the Alexandra Towing Company Ltd, Liverpool.
1976: Owners restyled as Alexandra Towing Company (London) Ltd.
8.1.1976: Girted and sunk off Tilbury by the containership JERVIS BAY (26876g/1970). Subsequently raised and returned to service.
6.1982: Sold to Medway Secondary Metals Ltd., Rainham for demolition.
