1991-1993 converted to cruise ship TROPIC SUN operating in the Galapagos Islands.
On checking today, I see that Equasis now list her as a houseboat, owner

SOTOMAYOR NEIRA J under Ecuador flag.

So it seems that her cruising days are over.

Perhaps not George.

Equasis classes all "Yachts" as "Houseboats".

For instance the Super Yacht ANDROMEDA, built in Norway in 2015 and with a Gross tonnage of 5,937 is classed as a Houseboat.

What the super rich owners think of this is another matter!!
