Final voyage

The New Holland Bulk Services floating crane, for many years a feature in King George dock, was this morning towed out by Shovette and Lashette for the breakers yard at New Holland. I wasn't aware but the associated floating weigh scales went to New Holland a few years ago.

I think we set up NHBS at 11 Shed in early 1990's on back of a contract they had for soya from Arkady Feeds. previously trans-shipped via New Holland. Must have handled a good tonnage over almost 30 years!
