For many years she was the Bunker barge that ran between Tyne ( agents Hull & Chicken) with Esso fuel to Tees ( agents Constantine & Co.(1947) Ltd).......she was sometimes in the Tees three times in 24 hours which meant that the Junior Customs Clerk ( me) had to go to Customs to pay the Fairway Buoys every day.................happy days......

Ah Geoff, suspect you are in a time warp there, you will be thinking of the war-built steam tanker ALLURITY? Remember her well from 1959'ish. Believe she was replaced by ESSO TYNEMOUTH in 1960?
