In WW today
SEAHAM PRIDE presumably towed MARY ANGUS from Seaham (or Boston?), or is to take her back

Oh, so both will presumably head to Boston in due course .... leaving Seaham without a tug?

There was comment on TugTalk about a "missing" SEAHAM PRIDE in September last year. She had been seen in Great Yarmouth in June (ish). Not sure where she has been since then.

SEAHAM PRIDE came in from Boston, I believe MARY ANGUS will be making her own way out, probably back to Boston. (Crew stayed at D&P where Mrs works.)

Stephen Carter on TugTalk is of the opinion that she was transferred from Seaham to Boston (both ports operated by Victoria Wharf Group) to replace the Bostonian.

The Seaham Pride has been at the port of Boston since October 2011. The Mary Angus towed her down from Seaham after doing dredging work there. She was indeed brought down to replace the more ageing Bostonian and after a bit of work on her, that is what she has been doing. She visited Great Yarmouth when she towed a barge down there. While she is up at Hull she will be renamed Boston Pride. She arrived at Hull under her own steam. Mary Angus is in for her two year survey arriving under her own steam on the 8th May. She is due back up to Seaham for dredging work after leaving Hull. Hope this answers a few questions.

Interesting. I had never realised the Seaham Pride was registered in Newcastle.

Assumed it was Seaham.
