A busy Parkol yard on 5 April, 3 alongside and 1 in the drydock.
The docked vessel is JUBILEE SPIRIT, for the rest see separate photos.

Any idea what is going on behind the sheeting?
Looks like nice day out for fish & ships.

Sheeting, sheeting? These are the latest vogue in 'ship construction sheds'! Build the hulls in here, take down the sheets and launch by mobile crane, simples! They hardly enhance the waterside view of Whitby but I suspect they may not have needed planning consent as 'temporary buildings' so perhaps a neat solution. Thanks George, also keeps down claims for paint spray damage as well. Neat solution.
Swans used similar structures for their warship work in later years.
