Formerly a Waverny Class lifeboat built in 1967 at Brooks Marine of Lowestoft, as the 'Margaret Graham' (44-005). She was stationed at Harwich until replaced in 1980 when she became a relief boat for 6 years. In 1986 she was stationed at Amble and remained there until 1999. When she was retired she was the longest serving Waverney in the service and had saved close on 100 lives. She was bought in 1999 by Scarborough Borough Council for service as Whitby's Pilot Boat and has remained here ever since. Sadly, with the demise of Whitby as a cargo handling port, she is seldom used now.
