Sneaked "up north" to visit a pal at Seghill. I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere on the way home to end up where I did! Bloomin' long walk to the end of the pier from where I found a parking place! It seems there are plans afoot to bring a railway passenger service back to the area, maybe in the future I could sneak up to Seghill in the train. Save a lot of bother!

Nearest station to Segill will be Seaton Delaval and the nearest to the Harbour is South Newsham so that's an even longer walk than from the car park at the Harbour entrance Good pair of walking shoes, or a bike might be required Regards Graham

Hopefully that does not include a mobility scooter Although there is a cycle path most of the way down from South Newsham Pronounced News-ham not New-sham on some local radio bullitens Regards Graham

Thought I'd better get a few things together in anticipation of a future visit to Blyth harbour (now, where did I put that first aid kit?)
