Same berth, same 'cargo' as WILSON GHENT different day
Think the bridge and accommodation are at the front but these days and from a distance it is hard to tell :lol:

Clos up of her on the Dun Cow this afternoon
Certainly a formidable bow but you cannot call it a pointy end!!

As we used to say " There's ugly and there is Pig ugly" this vessel certainly falls into the latter category :( or would I be offending Pigs. Nice row of Pirelli tyres all neatly tied off.

One evening in October, when I was one-third sober,
An’ taking home a load’ with manly pride;
My poor feet began to stutter, so I lay down in the gutter,
And a pig came up an’ lay down by my side;
Then we sang ‘It’s all fair weather when good fellows get together,’
Till a lady passing by was heard to say:
‘You can tell a man who “boozes” by the company he chooses’
And the pig got up and slowly walked away

Jake Thackeray?

Looking at the other "Designed fit for purpose " Vessels Delta Marine have there must be very limited on the sea conditions they can operate in especially in the North Sea which can be a very rough old place given the right/ wrong conditions.
A thumbs down from me :(

I too thought she was an ugly ship until I looked at her spec and realised that she is really a workboat.
This is a concept that has developed over time from a motorised pontoon with a crane on top.
She is the largest of Neptune Shipyard's Eurocarriers: https://www.neptunemarine.com/newbuild- ... ocarriers/
As the size of the Eurocarriers have increased they have been given "more" of a pointy end.
I think with that background she doesn't look too bad: https://www.jifmar.net/fleet/voe-vanguard/

Thanks for The G.A. Dave, under all that protection she does appear to have a Nice Stern------of sorts :( , I still think I would rather sleep at Deck Level or even on the Deck in nice weather.
Judging by the varying Cargo/ Equipment they are expect to carry you need to have great faith in whoever is doing the Lol calucalations
