Canadian registered HORIZON STAR arriving this afternoon from Bay Bulls, Newfoundland
Berthed at Wimbourne to begin mobilization for a job, presumably this side of the pond.
Maybe other side of the world!!

And now causing controversy by being purchased for the Australian Navy to be renamed RELIANT
That' after the Australian Government promised to build a vessel in Western Australia for service in the Pacific assisting smaller island nations with natural disasters relief.

Graham, is she a stop gap measure or a permanent solution, civilian (RFA style) or Services manned any info would be welcome. Thank You Ron@?

Graham, the 'disaster relief' vessel is probably a separate matter? By the looks of HORIZON STAR she is destined to become a repair ship, similar to previous one in the RFA.
