Dave
The last two in the set are taken with her in the turning basin up past Bates.
She will have been unable to turn right from the South Harbour and will have had to take the scenic route
The cranes in the background on the right are on Battleship Wharf, possibly doing construction work

Graham

Makes sense, thanks Graham. Better than being towed out stern first I suppose.

Ships of that length either have to back in to the south harbour on arrival then go up and turn or turn up river, go head into the dock and then back ot and go to see.
The river is'nt wide enought for a lefthand down turn.
Mind you the EILEEN M made a hash of turning on entry and hit the round end where the old navigational light used to be. Bent the quay quite a bit and it's a stone jetty !
