Shortly after arriving yesterday with a cargo of rock salt.
I am thinking that those are portable tween decks stowed on top of one another in front of her accommodation
And is her sister the DION??? :D

Not tween-decks Graham - hatch covers.

But her hatch covers are in place, painted green. Suspect Graham is right as rock salt wouldn't need a tweendeck. :)

On closer inspection I think that you are right Patrick - but, with a couple of exceptions, the panels appear to be at least as wide as the hatch coamings – I’m puzzled as to how they are shipped and secured.

Taken his morning through the mist
Hatch covers up against the superstructure.
And yes if I was on baord I would wonder about the stowing of the tween decks

Further shots of her from shipspotting.com showing her with her tweendecks stowed while at sea/entering port.

If you look at the 3rd picture there looks to be provision for stacking her tweendecks in front of the accommodation

Also on this site as UAL RODACH at:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=17017

But the link to the UAL RODACH on the Tees shows a different ship, both however were owned by Carisbrooks Shipping though
