Arrived Tuesday and seen on the Dun Cow Quay
Website had her arriving for the Number 37 jetty.
The Port of Blyth have recently been granted a license to decommission - that's scrap in old English
To quote the Port of Blyth Announcement

Having worked closely with the Environment Agency for 12 months prior to the environmental permit being granted, the Port is now readying a site suitable for decommissioning at its busy Battleship Wharf terminal during 2018.
The designated 2.3ha decom site within the terminal is now licensed to handle up to 50,000 tonnes of offshore energy materials per year with the Port likely to focus on small to medium sized projects and pieces up to 4000 tonnes in response to demand.
Already benefiting from direct access to deep water berths to over 9.5m and an adjacent rail link, work will commence to prepare a heavy duty concrete base and quarantine areas for hazardous waste including NORM.

Presumably she is to dredge the area around the 37 jetty and around the back of Battleship Wharf and what offshore energy materials means remains to be seen. Anything from barges to jack up rigs, small offshore boats. Hmmmmm
Regards
Graham

"...... quarantine areas for hazardous waste including NORM". NORM = Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials. Might brighten the area up!
