CAPT. JAMES COOK II (tug)

CAPT. JAMES COOK II (tug)

Checking to see if I had any views of my own of the excursion vessel CAPTAIN COOK (I haven't!) I came across these long-forgotten (well it is almost 35 years!) negatives of this small tug berthed alongside other various vessels operated by Tyne-Tees Waste Disposal from what is now Dawson's Wharf, part of the former Tyne-Tees/Dent's Wharves, on 20 March 1979. Again, I have no details for her.

She was named CAPT JAMES COOK when seen on 18.04.85,I have always wondered if she was renamed CHERRY?

Mick,

Certainly looks a good possibility.

See also the topic on the CHERRY (2) at: viewtopic.php?f=141&t=8376
That should send Dave and others digging into her previous background. (The hull of the CPT JAMES COOK II looks a bit earlier than a 1970 new-build????)
