The tanker astern would, I think, be the GULF FINN, launched 13 September 1962.

Nice one to find, Ron.
One of the first ships I saw at Furness was her sister DUKE OF MISTRA which completed in 01/1960 so in the P.M. era (pre Mapplebeck).

Furness yard no 506.with a Hawthorn Leslie Doxford 67LBD5 engine. demise may have been due to tailshaft failure, probably beyond economic repair at 22 years old
