23,456 Gross. 35,552 Dwt.Stem Turbine=16 kts.

62 Esso Genova.
69 HOEGH TRADER.
70 Converted into a Vehicles Carrier.
21,364 Gross. 34,576 Dwt.

Broken up Kaohsiung, arriving 9th February 1979.

It looks as though Albert was stood alongside Mick .... and myself .... and probably a few others at the time!
The only quibble I have with Mick's entry is that the date was 3 August 1977, which fits with being a Ship Society summer visit to Tees Dock on the first Wednesday that month.

Checking my notebook there were somewhat meagre pickings for us that evening! BORDABEKOA with MARTON CROSS in Tees Dock (viewtopic.php?f=43&t=11900), a distant view of the CUMBRIA SHORE sailing past in the river, the HOEGH TRADER then sailing, followed by another half-frame photo of the CAREBEKA VI outward bound!
Still I think this one sighting made up for the lack of others.
