Interesting design.

Built at Leirvik, Norway as the CREDO in 1968.

52,672 Gross.
102,065 Dwt.

GETAFIX from 1976 to 1982.

Her original Owner was listed as A/S Jensens Rederi I, II, III & IV.
Mgr Jorgen P Jensen. Arendal, Norway.

Bit More.....

She was single screw with a 10Cy 21,000 bhp B&W Engine by her Builders so presumably the other Funnel served her Aux. Engines.

I was also thinking that her Bunker Capacity of 4,300 tons of hvf was quite large compared to the much smaller, Shell Tanker CRANIA of 12,985 Dwt which only had bunkers of 781 tons but then I found the British India Tanker ELLORA of 37,120 Tons had a Bunker capacity of 3,800 tons of Oil Fuel.

Soooooooo I suppose 4,300 tons would be the norm for a vessel of her size trading World Wide.

Presumably her owners were always confident that she would get a fix even in poor markets ....
