Anything Blyth can do the Tees can do better!
I surprised myself to find it is nine months since I last photographed ships at North Tees Oil Jetties.
In the meantime someone (they? ... who?) have filled in the gap we could previously clamber over, rubbish-stewn albeit.
Now mountaineering experience is necessary to climb the slag embankment. The ascent not too bad, the descent somewhat tricky (certainly for one of my advancing years!). I might even in future need to resort to taking some small stepladders with me!!!!

I see TEESMAN Mick did get a view from here recently, so I'll await his input on how recent this change is!
