You have to admit that, what is essentially a Sea-Going Barge with In-Board, Out Boards has given great service over the years.

Still on the go, IIRC last of this class in Northern European waters, RIVER TRADER passes Paull inward for King George dock 11/10/2020. She was recently in dry-docked in Alexandra dock.

I'm sure my good friend Flor van Otterdyk will not mind my adding his photo of her late last week at Walsoorden on the Schelde
"In between showers, the "River Trader" is seen loading malt at Walsoorden for Hull. Left on the late evening of Friday she is due at her destination on Sunday"

Interesting. She had made a call to 10 quay a few weeks ago and I did wonder what she was in for. I wonder where the malt is going? The only place I can think would be Vivergo but they usually take feed wheat.
