From South Gare to Stockton

ALITHIA

ALITHIA (9595840), Malta, 22223gt, completed Ulsan 3-2012

Arriving South Gare - 30 August 2021:

When I noticed this vessel in the shipping movements last night I misread her name as AUTHIA and thought, that's interesting, only one letter different from my first ever sighting, the AYUTHIA (q.v). It was only when I looked up her details I realised the U was actually LI!!

Was considering coming up yesterday but the small number of ship movements wasn't tempting - bar this one - so we went to Levisham instead and watched trains :)

Apologies to Ron for hijacking his post.

Sort of - 76079 waits North bound as 92134 waits to enter the station.

I'm jealous, you caught two in steam! Been there only the one time, must try to get back.
Ron will not mind, I'm sure he remembers steam engines .... :)

It was a good day - caught 4 steam and the Class 37. Was mostly using video - from which I can get stills as well. :)

A fine set, Patrick, enjoyed the videos. 92134 is a big beast for that line.

She is. End of September they're having a steam gala - 11 locos in steam including Tornado visiting. I won't be able to go though as will be in Aberdeen.
