She looks nice from the Stern and she does have sheer but in Dennis's picture she looks like she has hit a brick wall.

She had three holds served by a mix of 8 x 3-5 ton Derricks and one heavy lift rated at 20 tons.
Her Twin 8 Cy Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz engines, with a total bhp of 2,000 bhp gave her a top speed of 12.5 Kts.

Wonder if the clue to the blunt bow lies in her origins with Manchester Lines .... maybe to closely fit one of the old locks on the St. Lawrence / Lakes route before the Seaway was opened in 1959?
