Towed by a tug into George town, Cayman islands 2.3.2004with severe engine damage. Subsequently towed onto Belize City arriving 6.5.2004. where part of her cargo of steel was discharged. She was then to be towed to Tampico where the remainder of her cargo, plywood, was to be discharged and a decision on her future would be taken.
P500: Reports suggest she will be scrapped.
Wether that happned? Certainly she does not appear to be active !

Well, 14 years later she is still 'active' in Equasis, under managers based in Schiedam, so if broken up after 2004 they are long overdue to amend, more likely that she's still in existence? Nothing entered in Miramar either.

There's a canny book on Rix by a couple of blokes I know.
After I made last post I looked up her entry and the book noted her listed by Mr Lloyds in 2014.
