What a find this was, although I was not to realise that until I looked her up.
Pity it was such a murky day as my scans hardly do her full justice!
Sailing from River Tees on 19 May 1989. Already then a veteran.
ARIADNE (5357874), Malta, 1585gt, completed Ailsa SB Co, Troon, 11-1957
1957 THAMESWOOD (so originally owned by Constantine's and registered at Middlesbrough) -
68 SERRA ORRIOS - 72 CHEMICAL ORRIOS - 77 SERRA ORRIOS - 79 IAGO - 88 ROMEO I -
89 ARIADNE - 93 LARNAKA - 95 ANASTASIS (recorded as still in service under Honduras flag)
1968 lengthened and converted from cargo ship to chemical tanker;
1977 further lengthened.

Still apparently going strong after almost 55 years.
