A very handy little vessel, think it was her that delivered some straddle carriers to Hull ex Southampton (one previous owner!).

In October 2013 the SAINT BRANDAN completed an extensive refit, which included the removal of the bow RoRo Ramp and replacing with a conventional bow, at the yard of Asmar Artilleros Punta Arenas Chile. The accomodation has been altered to facilitate the carriage of passengers,on deck the crane has been fully overhauled and has a lifting capacity of 18 tons. After 25 years on a military contract in the Falklands the ship now has new owners in Chile who intend to use her in the coastal trades.
