Ah, good question! And I didn't know the answer!

But I have revisited my negatives and suspect I jumped to the wrong conclusion in my first post. I now think she was arriving in Tees Dock on 24 April 1977. This is strongly supported by my list of sightings for that day. I started at Tees Dock, went along the river, saw ships in Middlesbrough Dock .... then recorded the DIMONA in the Tees (note not specifically Tees Dock!) as my final sighting that day. Maybe she had to part discharge there before moving into Middlesbrough Dock?

For what it is worth, the DIMONA was not in the dock on the 1 May 1977, the day after your sighting of her.
