Described on one shipping site as a "Box Shaped Single Decker" just about covers her, she is doing well bearing in mind her age, I wonder if they can still get spares or do they have to trawl through Shipbreaking Yards ;)

A very successful class, Hull's answer to the SD14's of Sunderland :)
Still several giving service around the Med and Black Sea, I believe.

Handy trading area for getting spares from the Turkish Shipbreakers under the "Used but Serviceable Tag". Most probably from HMS ?. Scrap prices must be low as I went past the Able Yard where there is a mountain of scrap ready for the Blastfurnaces unfortunately not on Teesside, The Infant Hercules is no more. However the Blastfurnaces at Ijmuiden seem to be working well :(
