Took a bit of guesswork, and recollecting that I had seen her on the Tees during 1966, to work out that this enlarged view from an Albert Weller negative was the TOPMAST 18 in Tees Bay: http://www.benjidog.co.uk/allen/Images/ ... 000031.jpg
TOPMAST 18, Risdon Beazley Ltd, 497gt,
completed Redpath Brown, Glasgow, 1942
1942 RAMPINO - 1964 TOPMAST 18 - 1976 broken up (own records)
However, intriguing suggestion from Clydesite at: http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/v ... p?id=23547 that she could have been built (presumably originally with a LCT number) by Whessoe Foundry, Darlington! (come on, George, where do we put this one??? Does that count as shipbuilding on the River Tees???? We need shipbuilding on the Skerne!)
