Built by PK Harris & Sons at Appledore in 1959 and she was probably only a couple of years old in this photo

Nice shots by Albert Weller of the STRANTON assisting the SAGAMORE berth at the Deep Water Berth, Hartlepool Docks, with the collier CHESSINGTON visible in the background.
STRANTON (5342192): British Transport Commission, West Hartlepool, 145gt,
completed by P.K. Harris & Sons Ltd., Appledore, 11-1959.
1967 transferred to newly formed Tees and Hartlepools Port Authority.
Although still listed in Equasis as the STRANTON under Lebanese flag, the information I obtained some time ago was: 1995: To "Bilberry Shipping & Stevedores" at Waterford, renamed HOOK HEAD; 1998: To ?? (Lebanon); [2000 deleted from LR as STRANTON] - so still a slight mystery here?

David Asprey has just posted un Tugtalk ...

The second 1959 STRANTON of Hartlepool was last reported sold to Lebanese owners in 1998 and under Lebanese flag until 2008, without change of name.

Some time prior to 2012 she was renamed GENESIS 4, but by 12/2014 was lying part-submerged at Tripoli, Lebanon.

It now seems that GENESIS 4 is the ex SEATON and that STRANTON became HOOK HEAD then PANAGIA SOUMELA.

Well, I'm getting confused!
Where has David got the name PANAGIA SOUMELA from? Is the tug of that name still in service? (Not in Equasis as such.)

Last seen at Piraeus in 2012, see

http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/pho ... id=1726023

IMO 5342192 matched that given for STRANTON in Miramar, so assuming that was visible on the tug, it should be her!
