Completed in 1940 by Wm. Gray, Hartlepool, for the Bowring Steam Shipping Co.
Sold to McLallen of Bo'ness for demolition, arrived 24th December 1962

Pictured laid up at buoys adjacent to Dunston Power Generating Station in 1962. I presume she went to the breakers from here.

In May 1941 a mine (laid by German aircraft?) tore open her port side while she was lying at Belfast and she sank to the bottom of the dock. She was raised two months later.
After WWII she was mostly on charter to the Dominion Steel & Coal Corporation of Canada shipping coal on the St.Lawrence
